One of the best ways to understand the soul and the way of life of the Brazilians is through their food. And there is no better way to understand Brazilian’s eating habits than by having a real feijoada. The world feijoada comes from the word “feijão” which is Portuguese for “beans”. It is a comfort food dish that many people prepare at home and it is one of the most typical dishes in the country. It consists of a black bean stew with hearty sausages and sundried beef, served with rice, collard greens, cassava (manioc) flour and orange slices. It is served throughout the country and there are many variations in each city. In this tour, we give you the opportunity to taste the Feijoada from Rio de Janeiro with a tour guide that tells you stories about the origin of the dish. The tour includes a tour guide, hotel pickup and drop-off and the feijoada (drinks and desserts not included).

Wait for the tour guide in the place informed on a visible location. Delays may occur due to traffic conditions. Different age policies may apply according to each location. ID or copy is mandatory, even for children. Voucher is confirmed only by payment confirmation. The tour itinerary may change its order on a daily basis due to force majeure. Pickup is available from most hotels in the areas of Leblon, Ipanema, Copacabana, Flamengo and Downtown (Centro). Contact us back to adjust the pickup time. For Barra da Tijuca/ Recreio we provide pick-up for an additional rate per person.
